Whale Shark Quest specializes in bringing you to swim with the largest fish in the world. Known as the Gentle Giant of the Sea, whale sharks migrate to the waters of La Paz for 6-8 months months between September and June each year. Whale sharks grow up to 41 feet, can weigh up to 21 tonnes and are filter feeders similar to whales, though they are not mammals.
We provide door-to-door services with transportation from Los Cabos to La Paz in comfortable reliable vehicles. The scenic drive from Los Cabos to La Paz is filled with breath taking views of the mountainous landscapes surrounded by the Baja desert. La Paz, with one of the most beautiful Malecons in Mexico (and the world), is a much truer Mexican city than the bustling day to day tourist traps of Cabo San Lucas. However, the real treat is to swim with the whale sharks themselves. Swimming with the largest fish in the world is a surreal experience. In ALL the things you can do on your trip--when you go home, swimming with Whale sharks will be what you will tell your friends about your experience in Mexico and los cabos.
Our guides are trained to get you up-close-and-personal with these "gentle giants." Our tours are professionally operated and certified according to Mexican Law. After your day on the water, enjoy a delicious, authentic Mexican lunch at a nearby restaurant!
